Sausage Tomato Pasta

Juicy pork sausage and pasta smothered in a cheesy tomato sauce. A perfect easy dinner that is also great for leftovers!

- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 brown onion
- 250 g button mushrooms
- 5 pork sausages
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup cream
- 5 cups pasta
- Parmesan
Boil a large pot of water, add pasta and cook as per packet instructions.
Cut sausages in bit size rounds. Then add to a hot pan to brown. After browning, remove and set aside.
Slice the onion into slivers. The add onion and garlic in the same pan as the sausage, sauté until translucent.
While the garlic and onion are sautéing, slice the mushrooms. Add the mushrooms and sweat until softened.
Now add back in the sausages, along with the tomato sauce and seasonings. Let the sauce cook down slightly for a few minutes.
Pour in the cream, stir to combine. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add in drained pasta along with ¼ cup of pasta water.
Sprinkle in your desired amount of parmesan, then serve.
