Curried Sausages

Yummy sausages submerged in a rich curry gravy, lathered over cheesy mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 sausages
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 L chicken stock
  • 4 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tbsp chicken powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Chop sausages into bite size pieces, then add to a pan and fry until they have a nice brown crust.
  • Remove the sausages, then add in the onion and garlic to sauté.
  • Once the onion is starting to look translucent and has some golden colour to it, add in diced carrots.
  • Now is when you add in the curry powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and chicken powders. Cook these off.
  • Pour in the chicken stock, and a cornstarch slurry (cornstarch and water).
  • Let simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add sausages in for 5 minutes before serving.
